The Joker pushed the Institute door open, he entered and saw Rouge who looked at him
And said
“Who are you and what are you doing here “

The Joker replied
“I’m lost, can you tell me where is Gotham kind madam? “

And put forward his hand for a handshake

Rogue looked at him with amazement
she didn’t know what this clown was talking about, there was no City or town close by called Gotham , but no matter how freaky he looked it was Xavier Institute and all were welcome here , he gasp her hand but then an electric shock surprise her coming out of his hand

She fall to the ground not that it hurt her, but because she didn’t expect it, he suddenly jump her and say
“She fainted; let me give you kiss of life”

Before rouge was able to say anything he was kissing her on the lips
Her mutant power kicked in, she had no control over it, in mere second she was synthesizing the joker Personality and memories or you could say absorbing it into her own while giving him a biophysical shock which made him go limp

Inside the Institute Jean felt that something has happened outside and picked up rogue thoughts, she called Kitty and they both rushed out

Jean spoke first

“What happened? “

Rogue pushing Joker slumped body off her
“This … This … Joker clown jumped me and kissed me”

Shadowcat started to giggle

Rogue stares at her and shout
“That’s not funny kitty”

Jean looks at Shadow Cat
“Yeah kitty no clowning around please”
And she and kitty both snicker

Rogue stares at them both
“Fine I’ll go rest in my room you handle him”

And she storm off to her room

Jean picks up The Joker body with her telekinesis and ShadowCat followed her
They leave him at the infirmary and go back to what they were doing before
Rogue was at her room resting , she hated when she absorbing another personality , it meant a fight in her mind for power as the new personality always try to dominate , but she was trained by Xavier to fight it all and not them control her

She decided to lay on her bed and sleep a bit to focus , what she didn’t know is that The joker personality wasn’t a normal one ,it was crazy , way too much crazy and was uncontrolled and the fight was going to get started while she was sleeping

At the library jean was reading a book when shadowcat phased through the wall
Jean looked at Shadowcat and asked
“Is something troubling you cat? “

Kitty nods
“Yes, Rogue doesn’t seem good, could you go check on her? “

Jean closes her book and says
“Okay I’ll go check on her; you go check on the clown”

Jean knocked on Rogue room door, but there was no answer
She enters and sees Rogue at the corner, she runs to her and says

“Are you alright Rogue?”

Rogue look at her with tearful eyes
“Help…me…help”

Jean quickly grab Rogue head and use her powers , by using her telepathic powers she enter rogue mind , she did this only once before and it was hard , because rogue absorbed many personalities before and it was like a jungle before

But this time it wasn’t the same, it was all quite, it was all clear and no one was around
Then she see someone, she get close and find it Rogue but not the same Rogue

She had white makeup and had purple jacket and she was strangling another rogue, the other rogue was wearing mystique costume, which must be the absorbed personality of mystique, then the Rogue with the white makeup dropped what she was holding and looked at Jean and said
“Look what has dropped, hello their cutie”

And charged at her
Jean fought back with her telekinesis, but then remembered that this is rogue mind and her power is unlimited, so she decide to try and get another rogue to fight this one
She use her telepathic power to momentarily blind the rogue with the white makeup
And dash in the labyrinth that is rogue mind

She keeps on running and running, but to her horror she can’t seem to find rogue true personality, she found couple of others, sunspot rogue, Thor rogue among others
But they were all defeated and motionless

Then she found Rogue with Warbird costume, ah that was when rogue absorbed Warbird Personality that was when rogue was a villain before she got reformed
She goes to her and checks if she was okay

To her relief she was okay, she was just resting
She shakes her and Warbird Rogue looks at her
“Yes ma’am, how can I help you?”

Jean replay
“Warbird, I need your help, someone is trying to destroy Rogue and I need another Rogue to go toe to toe with her, I will assist you “

Rogue Warbird stand up and says

“Okay, I’ll help you, where is this fiend?”

Then they hear someone laughing, the laugh send a chill down Jean spine
She turns back and sees the rogue with White makeup

And jean says
“Who are you and what you did with Rogue”

The Rogue with white makeup looks at her
“I’m rogue! Or you should call me the Jokeress “

Jean point at her
“It doesn’t matter Jokeress because I will beat you with Rogue here and I will restore the real rogue back”

But suddenly she was grabbed from behind , she turn her head and see Warbird Rogue holding her , she try to get away but she can’t , she try to use her telekinesis or telepathic powers but somehow they aren’t working

She tell Warbird Rogue
“Why?”

Warbird Rouge respond
“I’m a Solider and I follow orders”

Jokeress walks over to jean laughing

She then holds Jean faces and turns it to her

“You think I left her if she wasn’t helpful? the place was crowded and I only left the one that is useful , oh and if you are thinking why you can’t use your powers , it’s easy , it’s my mind after all , I can do whatever I want in it as long as I control , and since you in my mind , you are mine to control also “

Jean get a look of horror on her face , she never expected anything like that to happen , before when she entered people mind she had backup but this time she didn’t have any

Then she felt some type of force entering her, it was changing her
Her cloth changed, her face becaming white, her eyes had black eye lash around it

Her mentality changed, no longer was she Jean grey the Phoenix, she was now psych mime, loyal follower of Jokeress, Warbird rogue released her and she stood in front of Jokeress, then she knelt on the ground

Jokeress said
“Stand up my loyal pet and go back to your body outside “

Psych mime stood up, she responded telepathically to her Mistress commands
“As you wish Mistress”

And returned to her body

Back at Rogue room, both Jean and Rogue stood up, and Rogue spook first

“Okay psych mime, let’s go get Kitty, I need more loyal Pets”

And psych mime answered again telepathically
“By your command Mistress, I sense that she is coming up to your room to check “

Rogue rubbed her hands
“Fantastic, now remember the plan “

And she went down and laid on the bed

Shadowcat knocked on the door and she heard Rogue says
“Come in”

She enters and see Rogue sitting at her Bed and Jean beside her, she get close and says
“How are you doing Rogue?”
Rogue smiles and says
“I’m fine, how is the Joker doing?”

Shadowcat say to her self
“Since when he was the?”

Psych mime pick that thought up and tell her Mistress by the telepathic Link she built

Shadowcat then says
“He is stable but his brain activity is null, am afraid he could be vegetable”

Shadowcat saw Jean get close to her, but she didn’t expect anything from her
Then suddenly Jean held her head and Shadowcat felt the pain , Jean was using her telepathic powers on her , she tried to phase out but it seem Jean shut her powers out
Then the memories started flooding her , something about DeeDee , and serving the Joker , oh Mr. J , he was Fantastic , but she now work for Mrs. J , wait what are those memories , she must fight them off , she must resist , she bring up her memories
The days she had fun with psych mime, Ah her memories are already corrupted, she can’t bring up any memories of her old self, then she was changed

Jean released her, and Rogue looked at her
“How are you feeling Shadowcat?”

Kitty looks at Rogue angrily and said
“Who is this pathetic Shadowcat? I’m Deedee, and I answer only to Mrs. J”

Rogue smile then goes into a laugh
“That’s my Kitty, now let’s go and change, I hate those costumes”

And they go to the dressing room, they apply makeup to their faces then they pick dresses

Jokeress checked her two loyal pets
DeeDee with her Red hat, and red Boots
Psych mime, her green corset and boots  

And she had a purple suit on; all of them had white Makeup, while Psych mime had also green eyelashes

Then Jokeress said
“Its time the Jokeress and her gang hit the town, who shall we visit, Fantastic Four or the Avengers”

And they all exit the room with Jokeress and DeeDee laughing and Psych mime following them silently
